Know your Android Operating System version
To check the android operating system version on your android device follow the below steps,
1. Go to Settings
2. Check the last menu item, "About Phone"
3. You will see the information about your device, its model number etc. Below that there will be information about "Android Version" and "Build Number"

Samsung Galaxy Ace Operating System is 2.2, HTC Salsa is 2.3. But you can always update it
